Market for car navigation devices expected to explode
Although Brandweek says fewer than a million people in the United States use GPS devices, sales increased about 153 percent in 2005. Thales Navigation, which makes Magellan GPS products, predicts the global market for navigation devices will reach $5.4 billion by 2008.
